Things to do

Our apartment's location allows you to visit Portoferraio on foot.
We are just a few hundred meters from the port and one kilometer from the town center.

In 15 minutes you can reach the beginning of Calata Mazzini, the point from which the ZTL (limited traffic zone) starts in the evening during the summer, and begin your walk among shops, restaurants, bars, and mega-yachts moored in the beautiful Darsena Medicea.

In terms of history and culture, in the center of Portoferraio you can find
the Torre della Linguella, with its archaeological museum inside;
the Villa dei Mulini (Napoleon's residence);
and the system of Medici Fortresses.

The other Napoleon's residence is San Martino, far from the apartment 5km.

Among the other recommended activities, there is the Aquarium of Elba in Marina di Campo,
which, although small, presents with great care many marine species typical of our sea.
The Monte Capanne Cableway from Marciana will take you up to 1,000m above sea level,
where you can enjoy a breathtaking 360-degree view of the entire Archipelago.
For children, a visit to the "Piccola Miniera" in Porto Azzurro is fun as it simulates entering
a mine and shows typical minerals of the island using a train ride.
Visits to the Calamita and Rio mines are also beautiful.

For young people who love to have fun, a visit to the Club 64 nightclub (6km) or
to the Convio in Cavoli (21km) with its mega beach parties is a must.
